- Flat tax of 5% on 78% of your income.
- You can’t deduct business-related expenses.
- You can earn up to 65,000 euros per year.
- Impatriates Regime
- Taxes on only 30% of your income
- 10% if you live in certain regions in the south of Italy:
- Sicily, Sardinia, Calabria, Abruzzo, Molise, Campania, Puglia, and Basilicata
Keep in mind that no matter the regime, or your level of income, you are still responsible to pay contributions to INPS for social security.

This interministerial decree is expected within a month from now, to complete the details of the visa and define implementation matters.”
